I remember especially liking a poetry writing project that was assigned when I was in
3rd or 4th grade. I was very proud of being a writer. I decorated the blue, three-prong notebook cover of my poetry collection with a BIG heart collaged from magazine photos of flowers.
I'm honored to help inspire that same love of poetry as a contributing poet through
Pomelo Books and their "THINGS WE" series (ages 3-7) and "WHAT IS" series (ages 8-12).
